London is a Gin City
Vodpod videos no longer available.
This is something I’ve always wanted to do. Go from bar to bar and ask for a Martini the way the bartender makes them for himself. Simon Majumdar and Nick Strangeway did get to do so in London, a city whose name is on half of the world’s gin bottles. LINK
The Martini is a drink so simple, yet it inspires so much debate. Probably because it’s worth the fuss. It’s really fun to see the different ways people can make one. Check out the surprisingly elegant poured Martini.
I personally like a 7:1 Plymouth & Nollie Prat with a twist and a drop-not-a-dash of orange bitters. How about you?
EDIT: Sorry for the autoplay.
