Kevin’s top 10 films of the decade

I don’t have the time, breath, intelligence or energy to give any explination for this list. Images and your collective imagination will suffice. Off we go:

10. Cache (Haneke, 2005)

9. George Washington (Green, 2000)

8. Inland Empire (Lynch, 2006)

7. In Praise of Love (Godard, 2001)

6. Yi Yi (Yang, 2000)

5. Dogville (Von Trier, 2003)

4. I Don’t Want to Sleep Alone (Tsai, 2006)

3. Mulholland Drive (Lynch, 2001)

2. What Time is it There (Tsai, 2001)

1. 2046 (Kar-Wai, 2004)

  1. Strangely enough, but pertinent, the gap of quality between my top three and the rest of the list is large.

  2. I agree with your comment. But all good movies. I totally forgot about yi yi.

  3. Weird. Same with my three.

This Tsai character looks like someone I’ll have to check out.

  4. George Washington was so bleak and wonderful
